Our students traveled to Beijing and Hangzhou for a 4-day, 3-night sister school exchange trip. Along the way, they explored and learned about historical sites and cultural streets, experiencing the wisdom and beauty of Chinese culture, making the journey more than just sightseeing; it was a culturally immersive and enriching experience.
Beijing Study Tour Day 1
The students visited the Temple of Heaven and the Imperial Vault of Heaven, experiencing the solemnity of ancient sacrificial rites. In the evening, they savored authentic local cuisine at a Beijing restaurant, experiencing the cultural heritage within the food. Strolling through Beijing Fang and Qianmen Street, they learned about the profound heritage of Chinese culture in these historical streets, making the study tour a truly immersive cultural journey.
Hangzhou Study Tour Day 1
Students participating in the Hangzhou trip explored Qinghefang Street, discovering traces of Southern Song Dynasty culture amidst its ancient charm. Through observing architecture, shops, and traditional crafts, the children not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery but also experienced the wisdom and beauty of Chinese culture, as if stepping into a living historical scroll.
