Make-up exam mechanism
- Applicable subjects
- Grade 3 to 5: Students who have failed in any of the subjects of Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics or General Studies.
- Grade 6: Students who have failed in the three subjects of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics or the overall average score (involving graduation assessment).
- Grade calculation
- The make-up exam score will not replace the first exam score, nor will it affect the submission of the sub-examination or the report card assessment. It is only used as a reference for promotion or retention or sixth grade graduation/dropout.
- All semester grades are based on the original exam score.
- Process and Support
- Eligible students will be arranged for revision counseling and then take the make-up exam.
- Those who miss the exam due to illness or other reasonable reasons must submit supporting documents to apply for a make-up exam.
