A Heartwarming Exploration Trip: Beijing and Hangzhou Day 2
The exchanges captured on camera are not just a record of the trip, but also a warm imprint of the teachers and students' journey together. Today, we continue our exploration of Beijing and Hangzhou, visiting two sister schools!
Beijing Study Trip Day 2: Students visited their sister school, Beijing Daxing District Experimental Primary School, touring the exploratory astronomy classroom and the fun-filled bamboo garden. In the classrooms, they participated in group classes in physical education, visual arts, music, and science, experiencing diverse learning alongside local students. Students from both schools even collaborated to create fans and exchange gifts, laughter and creativity intertwined, and friendships blossomed through interaction.
In the afternoon, they climbed the Badaling Great Wall. The majestic scenery winding through the Yanshan Mountains allowed the children to personally experience the weight of history. Every step of the climb was a tribute to the wisdom of the ancients and a challenge to their own perseverance.
Hangzhou Study Tour Day 2: At their sister school, Hangzhou Shengli Primary School, the children shared their learning experiences with local peers. This cross-regional exchange fostered friendship and cultural exchange amidst laughter. They visited the Grand Canal Museum, then explored the Gongchen Bridge and the Qiaoxi Historical and Cultural District, witnessing the flowing culture of the thousand-year-old canal. Finally, at the Living Handicraft Museum, they made lacquer fans by hand, experiencing the beauty of craftsmanship in intangible cultural heritage and transforming cultural memories into unique works of art. They also visited Uniview Technologies, experiencing firsthand the power of modern innovation and smart technology, extending their study tour beyond historical culture to a future-oriented technological vision.
The Significance of the Study Tour: The second day in Beijing and Hangzhou was not just sightseeing, but an educational journey that impacted lives. The children forged friendships through exchange, experienced culture through exploration, and learned perseverance through challenges. These unadorned moments will become precious marks on their path of growth.
