Visiting Senior Citizens as Volunteers
Early in the morning, students led senior citizens to the activity room of the Youth Centre. They introduced themselves in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Soon, everyone warmed up together, raising their hands and stretching, filling the activity room with warm laughter.
During the "Big TV" game, both students and senior citizens were fully engaged, waving their arms and legs, actively participating, and trying their best to answer questions, creating a lively atmosphere.
During the "Warm Origami" session, students and senior citizens demonstrated excellent teamwork and mutual assistance. Students proactively cared for senior citizens who needed help, patiently guiding them to complete their creations. Furthermore, students used their creativity to add butterflies or flowers to their folded dogs and cats, making their creations more vivid and adorable, creating a very heartwarming scene.
During this volunteer learning day, students faced different challenges and learned the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation. They also experienced the joy and satisfaction of helping others through serving the community. Today was truly a rich and meaningful learning experience.
