Congratulations to our school's Head Teacher, Mr. Fan Ziqian, on winning the 3rd Hong Kong Outstanding Teacher Ethics and Conduct Award – Award of Excellence!
This honor recognizes exemplary core teachers who have demonstrated outstanding performance in teacher ethics and conduct. Recently, Chief Executive John Lee and Secretary for Education Ms. Choi Yuk-lin attended the award ceremony to witness this honor in the education sector. Head Teacher Fan, as one of the three award-winning teachers, shared his nurturing story and his award-winning experience with nearly 400 colleagues, principals, and parents present.
"Teacher ethics is not an unfathomable slogan, but rather a daily practice in the classroom, on the sports field, and in every small act of walking alongside students."
He mentioned in his sharing that the essence of education is "awakening" rather than "indoctrination," and that a teacher's mission is to help children rediscover their own value. He further stated that winning this award is a new starting point. In the field of education, we may not see flowers bloom immediately, but every seed will surely sprout in love. We once again thank Ms. Fan for her selfless dedication to her students, setting an excellent example for the entire teaching team.
