With Christmas approaching, our school held a "Peace and Thanksgiving: Christmas Poetry Sharing Session" on December 23rd. Led by teacher Deng Lu, all teachers and students gathered in the auditorium to welcome Christmas through singing and prayer, experiencing the love and joy from God.
The sharing session featured several touching hymns led by teacher Cheng Kangxu, including "God Who Lifts My Head Up," "Love Never Fails," and "Sunny Days and Rainy Days," allowing students to experience God's presence and protection through moving melodies. Teacher Zhang Cuilian led the entire audience in singing "Every Day is Christmas," bringing the festive atmosphere to a climax. Teacher Chen Kuangyu shared a picture book story, guiding students to reflect on how to rely on God's strength in times of weakness. The entire audience sang "Living Out Love," encouraging students to transform the love from God into action, caring for others and spreading warmth in their lives, allowing them to deeply experience the breadth, length, height, and depth of God's love amidst the joy of Christmas.
The day's activities included poetry sharing and a "Dog Interaction Time," where Li Enci's mother led dogs in interacting with students, allowing them to learn about care and acceptance in the company of animals and experience unconditional love. Primary One students also participated in the Thanksgiving Mass, learning the meaning of gratitude through prayer and sharing. Each class held a Thanksgiving snack sharing session in their classrooms, where students shared food and blessings, demonstrating their spirit of mutual love. The entire campus was filled with an atmosphere of peace, joy, and gratitude, allowing every student to spend a warm and unforgettable Christmas in God's love.
