一至五年級家長日

2026-01-24

This year's Parents' Day also includes various activities such as a parent seminar, a book fair, a school uniform sale, and registration for extracurricular activities for the next semester.

In the past, Parents' Day was a big day for parents to collect their children's report cards, putting both parents and students under considerable pressure. To address this, the school, in conjunction with Ms. Wu Huimin from the Positive Education Institute, held a talk for parents of Grades 1-2 on the topic of "How to Positively Encourage Children's Learning." The talk aimed to teach parents language skills to enhance their children's learning motivation, steps to care for their children's emotions, and an understanding of key elements of child psychological development.

For students, the school also arranged for Grades 1-2 to return to school for classroom activities, including distributing report cards and designing thank-you cards for their parents. Afterwards, students and parents met. Parents immediately put what they learned in the seminar into practice, using positive language to encourage their children's efforts. The atmosphere was warm and loving, with parents and students hugging and offering blessings and encouragement to their children; the tense and oppressive atmosphere of the past was nowhere to be seen. The school also immediately interviewed parents, students, and homeroom teachers. They all felt that this new model of Parents' Day could greatly reduce the pressure of receiving report cards in the past, improve parent-child relationships, and enhance students' learning motivation in a positive way.
