To encourage non-Chinese language students to continue their diligent studies and to acknowledge their efforts in the previous semester, our school held a "Non-Chinese Language Students' Achievement Celebration" on January 29th (Thursday). On that day, all non-Chinese language students gathered in the auditorium to receive encouragement from the principal. The students all felt the principal's care and concern. After the encouragement, there was an interview session, where junior students 4B Chloe and 5B Xiao Meiyu interviewed senior student 6A Xiao Xianhui. The junior students spoke appropriately, calmly, and clearly, clearly showing they had put in a lot of hard work beforehand! Xiao Xianhui has consistently ranked among the top students both inside and outside of school, but she always maintains a diligent learning spirit. This time, she generously shared her daily learning experiences, such as borrowing Chinese books, getting to know Chinese language students, and asking teachers questions, hoping that the junior students present would learn Chinese well.
Finally, Teacher Xia led the students to the stage to receive awards from the principal and take photos with them. Non-Chinese language students face unique learning difficulties, and their efforts to overcome these difficulties are commendable! They were serious when receiving their awards and smiled brightly in the group photos, bringing a perfect end to the previous semester!
We will continue to hold a celebration for non-Chinese speaking students at the end of each semester to acknowledge their efforts and give them a boost of confidence to face the challenges of the next semester or academic year.
