In this age of information overload, where truth and falsehood intertwine, the ability to discern, verify, and effectively utilize information has become an essential core competency for every faculty and student.
The "Hong Kong Baptist University Fact Checking and Information Literacy Workshop" was held today on campus. Through case studies and interactive discussions, the workshop aimed to equip students with fact-checking skills, enhance their critical thinking and information literacy, and build a reliable knowledge base in the digital world.
This is a future-oriented learning experience where both students and faculty can gain inspiration, cultivate insight and judgment, and work together to maintain clarity and truth amidst the information deluge.
