Positive Movie Viewing and Sharing Event (I) Let ideals set sail

2026-03-02

To promote positive education and instill values of perseverance and respect for others in children, our school held a "Positive Movie Viewing and Sharing Event (I)" on 27th February. We are very grateful! That evening, our school invited instructors from the Institute of Positive Psychology to be guest hosts, and over 130 parents from our school and district accompanied their children to participate.

The animated film ‘Zootopia’ (2016) tells the story of Judy Hopps, a rabbit full of a sense of justice, who perseveres in her ideal and becomes the first rabbit police officer in Zootopia. After rigorous training, Judy goes to a big city alone to become a police officer, but is looked down upon because of her small size. Encountering difficulties and setbacks, she almost gives up! Fortunately, Judy has her supportive parents and her smart partner, Nick Wilde, who help her to overcome difficulties and learn perseverance, courage to try, and respect.

After viewing the film, parents and children had a sharing time. It turns out that the little acts of "persistence" shown by children in daily life are what parents see and appreciate! We hope our children will dare to try for their goals and that parents are their most reliable support!

We hope that more families will participate in the positive education activities organized by our school in the future. This way, parents and children can be inspired and helped, and the seeds of positive education can continue to grow in our school and community!
