2023-24

In order to fully support every sixth grade student and parents, the school held a number of information lectures on entering high school from early November to early December, and was honored to invite MS LAW KING YUK VICKY Principal of Bishop Hall Jubilee School, MR CHEN TAK NAM Principal of Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School , MS LAM YUK KEI Principal of SKH Tsoi Kung Po Secondary School went to the school to share with students and parents the latest high school information, analyze school selection strategies, and explain in detail the admission requirements and interview points, etc., to help students and parents prepare for choosing a school for high school.

On 7th October , 2023, a "Secondary School Interview Skills Seminar" was held to provide P.6 students and parents with a deeper understanding of the format, techniques, strategies, and important points to note for secondary school interviews. The seminar was highly successful, attracting nearly 100 students and parents who actively participated and created a lively atmosphere.

2022-23

To fully support each P.6 student and parent, the school organized multiple secondary school information seminars from mid-November to early December. Three experienced secondary school principals were invited to the school to share the latest information on secondary school admissions, analyze school selection strategies, explain admission requirements and interview tips. The invited principals included Mr. CHEN TAK NAM, Principal of Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School, Dr. Raymond Yip from Munsang College Primary School, and Vice Principal Ms. Ho from Pentecostal School.

On 15th December, 2022, a "Parent Meeting on Self-allocation of P.6 School Places" was held to provide detailed explanations of the self-allocation mechanism and interview tips to current P.6 students and parents. In addition, the parent meeting included a segment where two third-year students shared their school experiences, including the characteristics of their schools, their experiences with secondary school interviews, and the challenges and opportunities in secondary school life. This segment aimed to help P.6 students prepare for their career planning.

On 4th January, 2023, a "Simlife Career Planning Experiential Teaching Activity" was organized to enrich students' experiences in different career orientations, develop a correct understanding of money, expand their interpersonal relationships, and explore sources of happiness in life. Through this activity, students were encouraged to reflect on their life goals and cultivate positive values and attitudes.

The school has always attached great importance to the transition from primary to secondary education and is committed to providing students with the highest quality and diverse learning experiences. In early February, the Academic Affairs Department led 30 fifth-grade students to Kowloon Chamber of Commerce Secondary School for an exchange and participation in "specialized courses." This activity allowed fifth-grade students to gain a deeper understanding of the learning environment and culture in secondary school, helping them to plan and adapt to secondary school life early on and facilitate a smooth transition to this new stage of learning.

2021-22

On 18th September, 2021, an online "Career Planning" seminar was arranged to allow students to examine their current lifestyle habits and learn time management skills by understanding the relationship between different subjects and future careers. Students were encouraged to set goals for themselves in secondary school and prepare for their career planning.

During the parent seminar on self-allocation of P.6 school places on 11st December, 2021, a segment was added where previous year graduates shared their experiences with secondary school interviews, secondary school life, and challenges. This segment aimed to help P.6 students prepare for their career planning.

On 15th December, 2021, a seminar on secondary school information was held, featuring a speech by Principal Mr. CHEN TAK NAM from Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School. This seminar aimed to provide our school students with a deeper understanding of the secondary school system, medium of instruction, subjects, and further education and career opportunities. It also aimed to help P.6 students prepare for their career planning.
