Our school held the "Positive Movie Viewing and Sharing Event (II)" on 27th March, 2026. We once again invited an instructor from the Institute of Positive Psychology to be the guest facilitator.
"Music" is our "priceless gift" — it brings us beautiful messages. The movie ‘McDull: The Pork of Music’ is set in Hong Kong more than ten years ago. It features a respectable kindergarten principal as the main character, reflecting the original aspirations, passion for teaching and perseverance of educators. As the title suggests, the film centers around songs, with children singing throughout, showcasing their innocence and illustrating how the principal held onto his dreams of education and music through difficult times. Indeed, every person who sticks to their post and passes on the beautiful values of life deserves our respect.
After viewing the film, parents and children sang three familiar hymns together: ‘Rain or Shine’, ‘Live Out Love’, and ‘If You Can See’. Through these songs, the beautiful melodies filled our school hall with warmth and joy. We hope that all the families who participated in this "Positive Education Cinema" sharing event may strengthen their bond of love. May children grow up in happy families.
