To promote the spirit of "Respecting Teachers," our school held a series of "Teacher Appreciation Activities," allowing students to express their gratitude and respect for their teachers in various ways. First, the principal, in his speech under the national flag, shared a talk titled "Respecting Teachers: From the 'Supplementary Year' to Today's Blessings." He not only explained the origins and etiquette of Teachers' Day but also led students in offering heartfelt blessings. Later, during the weekly meeting, the principal introduced campus etiquette and invited teachers and the discipline officer to demonstrate etiquette practices, further deepening students' understanding of etiquette practices. The campus atmosphere was further enlivened by a relaxing game of "Guess Who I Am." Students matched their teachers with childhood photos, deepening their understanding of their teachers and fostering a sense of belonging. The subsequent "Teacher's Glory" activity allowed students to recognize their teachers' outstanding achievements, express their respect through public praise, and express their love and admiration for their teachers through poetry.
In addition to the on-campus activities, parents also shared their praise and support for the school and teachers, adding to the warm atmosphere. On the student side, Grade 1 students created thank-you cards to express their gratitude to their kindergarten teachers. Grades 2 through 6 continued the gesture, expressing their gratitude to past subject teachers. Furthermore, the Head of Discipline explained the importance of respecting teachers to all students and, through the pledge, "Teacher, you are wonderful and worthy of my respect," encouraged them to honor, respect, and love their teachers. Finally, through the "Respect and Love Teachers Fruit Basket Design Competition," students personally interviewed their teachers about their preferences and designed fruit baskets with their families, expressing their gratitude through creativity and action.
The entire series of activities was both solemn and heartwarming, further strengthening the bonds between teachers and students, and between families and the school, and ensuring the spirit of respecting teachers is passed down through generations on campus.
