2024-03-07

In order to enrich students' learning experience and improve students' awareness of marine conservation, the school continued the Marine Conservation Week activities of the previous semester and arranged for fifth grade students on March 2 Participated in the "Little Coral Rescue Team Restoration Activity" funded by the Environment and Conservation Fund and organized by Ocean Culture (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.

Students went to Shek Mei Chau in Sai Kung to help divers perform coral restoration. The divers would bring some coral fragments to the boat. Teachers and students had to help process the mixed glue and remove the coral. After being fixed to the rock and successfully repairing the coral fragments, the divers then take the coral back to the sea. The activity is very meaningful and allows students to gain a deeper understanding of the marine ecological environment and the importance of conservation.
