Chinese Language & Literature × Visual Arts × Music × Physical Education × Chinese Culture × Intangible Cultural Heritage

Our school collaborated with the Chinese University of Hong Kong's QSIP (Quality Schools Improvement Programme) to organize an interdisciplinary learning activity themed around Chinese opera, integrating intangible cultural heritage education. Students wrote scripts based on classic Chinese texts such as *Journey to the West*; and learned the singing, recitation, acting, and martial arts techniques of opera in music, visual arts, and physical education, respectively, ultimately rehearsing a complete Chinese opera performance. This activity, through interdisciplinary collaboration, allowed students to understand and experience traditional Chinese performing arts from multiple perspectives, enhancing their identification with and appreciation of Chinese culture.
