Learn & Play Culture Day – Chinese Calligraphy Activity
A Chinese language teacher led a group of bright and intelligent third-grade students in a "Learn & Play Culture Day" Chinese calligraphy activity, allowing them to learn about traditional Chinese culture through hands-on experience. These young leaders actively participated in the activity, diligently learning to write Spring Festival couplets and acting as "little teachers," guiding kindergarten students to experience the joy of calligraphy. During the interactive session, the third-grade students demonstrated confidence and responsibility, patiently guiding the younger children in holding and using the brush, allowing them to appreciate the structural beauty of Chinese characters and experience the unique charm of Chinese calligraphy. This activity not only improved the students' calligraphy skills but also cultivated their cultural literacy and leadership abilities, promoting a smooth transition from kindergarten to primary school and ensuring the continuation of Chinese culture in the school environment.
