School-based Counseling Activities

Student Counseling Unit Mission:

  1. With a student-centered approach, through experiences of self-development and self-discovery, we empower every student to fully realize their potential and cope with challenges as they grow.
  2. We focus on developmental work, organizing counseling activities based on students' psychological development and growth needs. We cater to students' personal, social, academic, and career growth needs, helping them grow healthily and optimistically, and fostering a positive campus culture.
  3. Provide individual counseling for students with personal and family counseling needs, helping them overcome challenges they face during their growth.
  4. Strengthen connections between different school systems to jointly promote student counseling services.

Student Counseling Unit Annual Objectives:

  1. Provide individual counseling services for students with personal or family counseling needs, helping them overcome challenges they face during their development and assisting families in need with obtaining appropriate social welfare support.
  2. Various preventive and developmental counseling activities are organized to support students' healthy and optimistic growth, strengthen and consolidate their positive attitudes towards challenges. The goal is to gradually enhance students' perseverance through various activities this school year. Furthermore, more opportunities are provided for students to understand themselves, thereby appreciating themselves and others. Students are encouraged to accept that both themselves and others can face failure, learn to face it with a positive attitude, see themselves as valuable individuals, and strengthen their growth mindset.
  3. Through consultations, case conferences, lectures, and workshops, teachers are encouraged to understand the diverse characteristics and needs of their students, thereby enhancing their counseling concepts.
  4. Strengthen parent education efforts and enhance parental discipline skills to achieve home-school collaboration. At the same time, promote communication between parents and students and enhance parent-child relationships through parent-child activities.
